You ever notice that among the signs a man is getting
old is that his ears grow big? This is
true of noses and cartilage generally. Like most of us, I look for signs of
aging……in me…..maybe too much. This
morning I awoke from a dream in which I discovered that I had huge ears, and in
the dream it was like I had had them for a long time but had only just noticed
them. I was disheartened at seeing my Kreatcher ears in the mirror, and
mercifully was awakened by my bladder (another sign of aging?). What a relief it was to see that my ears are
still nice and small. Aren’t they?
