Where a Cup of Coffee Costs a Thousand Times the Cost of a Gallon of Gas

Check out the prices of gasoline worldwide. In Venezuela, a basket case by conventional economic standards, gasoline costs the consumer as low as 4 bolivars per gallon. That’s less than a penny. Remarkable in a country where the inflation rate is predicted by the IMF to be 1,000,000 percent this year.  No, that’s not a typo.
