In Canada, flag colors correspond to the color of the political party that introduces them. Our red flag was launched by the red liberals. Quebec's blue flag was launched by the blue Union nationale. The existing flag symbolizes a dead leaf between two oceans of blood. The colors should be changed to a green leaf betwwn two blue strips: a living leaf between big blue oceans. The white, of course would mean snow, as before.
