March 13 dispatch from Tass (Russian news agency): “Militants are preparing a provocation with the use of chemical agents in Syria to justify a massive U.S. strike against Damascus’ government neighborhoods, Chief of Russia’s General Staff Valery Gerasimov said on Tuesday.” And what’s happened since? There was the attack on civilians a few days ago, and Trump’s tough talk in response. And now he tweets to Russia to “get ready”…missiles are on their way into areas controlled by Russian military. There have been no threats against the USA. The USA has no mutual defense treaty with anyone that was attacked, so I am not sure how what anyone did is an act of war against the USA. But if the USA attacks, then THAT will be an act of war. Oh well, maybe this is another Trump bark that has no bite.
